Describe yourself in one word?
Unique
When do you feel most at home in your body?
When I'm doing Ballet. I've had a passion for Ballet pretty much since I started speaking, and it still has a very special place in my heart.
What is your favourite way to move?
I listen to whatever music I'm very into at that time and let my body follow. Also I feel most myself when I'm around my OURO family. Who you surround yourself with when you are in a space changes everything. Moving alone is great but also moving with people who are all 100% themselves is an amazing feeling.
How do you keep yourself nourished?
Cooking is my therapy. Thinking about what to make, getting fresh local produce, chopping veggies and enjoying the creation of the food—the whole process, I love it so much. And of course a glass of red wine with it (maybe 2) would be perfect.
Where do you find inspiration?
I get very inspired by listening to other artists about their journeys. Listening to their thought process and getting a peek behind the scenes is very inspiring to me. Also, I love being around the ocean. Being close to the water always gives me some creative inspiration and clears my thoughts.
How do you manage your mind?
I try to be honest with myself, be kind to my brain and heart, and find the best way to not put too much on my plate. I know it's easier said than done but I'm trying baby steps with this. If I need to take lots of breaks I try to make sure to do it. The way to deal with things is very different for each person. The key for me to manage my mind is also to know and understand myself.
What are you most excited about at this present moment?
Since the start of the quarantine time I have been planting lots of vegetables and propagating plants in my apartment. It's mind blowing how much those things grow in a month. I'm so fascinated by it. I know our time stuck at home is ending but I definitely want to keep going with my new hobby!
