Calm
When do you feel most at home in your body?
I feel most at home in my body when I feeling inspired and creative in my work, when I am moving in someway every day and when I am surrounded by people and the things I love.
What is your favourite way to move?
Walking, stretching, yoga, surfing.
How do you keep yourself nourished?
Cooking nourishing meals, rest, reading books, expanding my mind & constantly searching for visual inspiration.
Where do you find inspiration?
Photographs, interiors, personal style— also in everyday moments. Whether that is watching nature or people in the city, I like finding beauty and inspiration in the simplest forms.
How do you manage your mind?
I feel like my mind always has a to-do list and is forever turning (but in the best way). It is the season my life is in right now and I am thankful for it. I am always thinking about projects, tasks, or ways to turn my inspiration into new work. Sometimes I need a slower pace, but right now I don’t feel that energy; I am excited and invite this state of mind with open arms.
What are you currently reading, watching, listening to?
Right now, I am rereading all of my favorite Unconditional Magazines & listening to lots of Jazz— Stan Getz, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington. I’ll turn it on every morning when I wake up to make my coffee.
What are you most excited about at this present moment?
The changing season, looking forward to crisp air and falling leaves. I feel new in the fall. I always thought summer was my season, but as I get older I am realizing how much I feel myself during autumn.
I recently turned 29 and I feel a new shift in my identity. I feel more confident, and my vision is clear in the direction I am headed; it is exciting and motivating all at once.
