When do you feel most at home in your body?
I feel the most at home in my body in movement. Movement is my medicine – my way back to self. My way out of my head and back to the present moment. For me to move is to feel... and to feel is one of the greatest gifts we are given as human beings.

What’s your favourite way to move?
Jaybird! I love the candlelit room, infrared sauna, amazing music, and no mirrors. It allows me to drop away from the outside world and back into my body. The darkness gives me permission to let go of what is going on around me and move authentically. Plus the little dance parties are always my favourite part of class.

How do you keep yourself nourished?
Sleep, water, electrolytes, healthy food, dinner with friends, dancing at a good concert, watching a sunset w/ someone I love, and meditating.

Where do you find inspiration?
I am constantly inspired by the amazing people I surrounded myself with. Music is my biggest inspiration for my classes, and remembering where I have come from. Every failure has gotten me to this place. Go live your heart out, and watch your growth become your own inspiration to continue.

What are you currently reading, watching, listening to?
Music - I am currently obsessed with my friend Ben Gulliver’s album he made for a surf film he made called ‘Mary’. Check it out!
Books / talks - Dhyan Vimal is my meditation teacher and his books and talks are incredible for personal growth.

What are you most excited about at this present moment?
Jaybird is expanding and we are opening our 3rd studio. Our Yorkville location in Toronto is set to open in October. This will be a double studio – a studio with both mat and reformer classes.
